The birth of Pretty Happy Dog

Pretty Happy Dog started when my husband, Chuck, and I were walking our Yellow Lab, Stella at our house in Bucks County, PA. As Stella frolicked happily down our driveway for our evening walk, Chuck said, "She is a Pretty Happy Dog. And right there the idea was born. We are finally at a point in our lives were we wanted to start our own business; and HERE we are!!

Why Hire Us?

I grew up with dogs. When I became a dog mommy as an adult, I wanted the best for my dog. My first dog, Madison - a Silky Terrier, it was easy to have friends/family watch her when I travelled because of her size. My next dog, Stella was a 70 pound Yellow Lab; more than my friends/family could handle. I hated boarding her; but had no choice when my husband got relocated to Indiana for business and we needed to go out to look for a house. I got a recommendation from my vet and prescreened the kennel before booking my appointment. I hated putting her in a kennel; but had no choice. We always had someone come in to take care of our cats when we were away; but never realized that we could do the same with our dogs. The comfort that I felt with having the ability of keeping my pets at home when I was away was incredible. That's why I'm doing this; to give you that piece of mind that your pets are being well cared for in the comfort of their own home.
